With the economy suffering in 2012.  Many people are buckling down and looking for ways to cut costs.  When it comes to cutting costs, getting cheap auto insurance quotes is one of the biggest factors people are going to be looking for in 2012.  When searching for cheap Auto insurance, you always want to make sure that your automotive insurance company is quality rated company.  A lot of people fall into the trap of getting the absolute cheapest auto insurance and they find out that when they try to file a claim, the auto insurance company never pays.

Plants vs Zombies is becoming one of the most popular online computer games, developed by PopCap Games.  Strikingly this odd titled computer game is finding its way into the mainstream, although I am not sure exactly what about the game that I am drawn too, however I do know that I am addicted.  This game is not just for kids, something about it is making it a hit for young and old alike.  The object of Plants vs Zombies is to defend your house from incoming zombies.

Originally Plants vs Zombies was only developed to run on a pc; but due to its ever-growing popularity the developers have made it available, on the Mac iOS, Nintendo DS, Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, Nintendo DSiWare, and on the Android.

So write down, something like, I will get up at 5:00AM and go jogging for 20 minutes.  Now comes the discipline, also write down all the reasons why you want to lose weight.  Write down something like, so I feel better about myself, so my husband can find me attractive again, so I don’t die of diabetes like my Mother – you get the idea.  Make it personal and impacting.

Now begins the hard part, waking up that first morning.  Just remember, this is the hardest day of your resolution.  If you make it past today, every day after will be easier, if you falter here you will never keep your resolution.  If you do this for 30 days, after 30 days of repetition, habits begin to develop and it will feel unnatural to begin your morning without a jog.

How to Build a Shed – Key Considerations

With any home improvement project there are challenges and unexpected expenses that do arise; and building a shed is no different.

With a lot of DIY’ers and weekend warriors think they can construct a shed without any problems.  The reality is without the proper planning and budgeting you may be looking at beginning a long hard journey.  However, with the proper planning and budgeting this home improvement project can prove to be a very rewarding venture.

One of the first areas you will need to begin with is a plan.  If you are skilled with engineering, drafting, and up to date on your local building codes you might consider designing your own shed.  However, for most of us, we are better off spending a little money up front by purchasing some shed blueprints or shed designs.

Once you have either purchased or drawn your shed designs, you will want to do a detailed estimation of the costs.  This will include cost of materials, cost of tools, cost of building permits, and cost for unforeseen issues.  It is extremely important to include everything in a written form, do not leave out the smallest items.  In most cases once you add up the small insignificant items like nails, wire, drywall mud, etc. you will find that this equates to a big percentage of your budget.  So do not leave out the little items because they very quickly add up.

Unforeseen issues will always arise for most experienced builders, so you can certainly expect to have some challenges if you are new to shed building.  If you search the Internet you will find on-line building communities and forums, these are a great resource to help you along your way.  People in these communities range from newbies to professional builders and they are always glad to help give you advice and tips on how to build a shed.

Greenhouse Plans – How to Build a Greenhouse

Before you start building your greenhouse, you will want to have either purchased or drawn up your own greenhouse plans.  In this step you want to make sure that you have thought about exactly what you will be planning to grow in your greenhouse, how much room you have to build your greenhouse, and how much money you have budgeted towards your green house.  Once you have a rough idea on the materials needed, you will want to price it out and add 15% for miscellaneous to make sure the size fits into your budget.

 

If it does not you will need to scale back your plans a bit to accommodate your budget.

Once you have planned and priced your greenhouse, you will want to make sure you have all the necessary tools to construct the garden greenhouse.  Tools are an investment, but they do add to the initial cost of the project, so if you do not have tools readily available you will want to make sure you have enough in the budget for this.

Another thing that you will need to take into consideration is the foundation.  Are you going to use a dirt foundation, which could create a lot of weeds, are you going to use something such as crushed limestone, or are you going to use something more permanent like cement?  Each option will add to the cost, with a cement foundation being the most costly.

The other factor that you will need to think about when building your greenhouse, is what kind of materials you are going to be using.  Some greenhouses are built using PVC as the framework, others use aluminum, and still others will use pressure treated lumber.  PVC and aluminum will never rot or rust; however pressure treated lumber has a limited life span in these very humid and warm conditions.

One last consideration is covering, do you plan to use solid glass panels or plastic sheeting.  Glass panels are more durable and long lasting, however are also more costly and can be problematic around weak limbed trees and dropping branches.

Now that you have given consideration to all the aspects of building you greenhouse you are ready to begin on the construction.  Remember take your time, for an inexperienced builder, constructing a quality greenhouse may take some extra time.  But building a greenhouse is something that everybody with a little patience and hard work will be able to build with no problem.  If you are new to this, I would highly recommend purchasing some predesigned garden greenhouse plans.  This small investment can save you a lot of headache down the road.

How to Get out of a DUI in Michigan

If you live in Michigan and are being charged for Driving Under the Influence, the very 1st thing you will need to do is immediately contact one of the many Michigan Criminal Lawyers.  This is essential, because after your arrest anything you say can be used against you.

However, the more you know about the laws relating to DUI’s in Michigan, the better equipped you will be to handle your case.

As I said, first call a Criminal Attorney in Michigan prior to doing anything else, he will help you far more than anything else.  Do not search for legal advice on the internet, you are likely to get bad information and cause yourself more harm in the long run.

In Michigan drunk driving is sometimes referred to an OMVI (this means that due to the presence of drugs or alcohol, your ability to drive a motor vehicle was impaired), and there are 3 major classifications of this crime:

1)      Alcohol or drugs in your body substantially affected your ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.

2)      A bodily alcohol content (BAC) at or above 0.08.

3)      High BAC means the alcohol level in your body was at or above 0.17.

Each classification of offense will carry a stricter penalty, and even a harsher penalty will apply if this is your second or third offense.  For the sake of this article, I will assume this is your first offense because if it was your second or third offense you are probably pretty well versed in the Michigan OMVI Laws.

For your first offense, and charged with an OWI and your blood alcohol level was at or above .08 but below .17, you could be faced with a fine of $100 to $500 and face up to 93 days in jail, and up to 360 days of community service.  Your driver license could be revoked for 30 days, as well as have restrictions placed on it for 150 days.  You could also have your vehicle immobilized and have an ignition interlocking system installed on your vehicle.  On top of all of this 6 points will be added to your driving record.

If you are found to have a Blood Alcohol level at or above .17, you could be faced with much stricter penalty.  This could include, up to 180 days in jail, a fine ranging from $200 – $700, up to 360 days of community service, and a driver’s license suspension of up to 1 year.  On top of that you could be forced to put on an ignition interlocking system on your vehicle as well as have 6 points added to your driving record.

If you are fortunate, and find yourself a good Criminal Defense Attorney Michigan, in certain cases you can get your charges dropped or reduced to “Operating while Visually Impaired.”  This offense only carries a $300 fine, up to 93 days in jail, up to 360 hours of community service, with only 4 points added to your driving record.

5 Tips to Selling Your Car Fast

We have all been in the position.  We need to sell our car, we want to sell it fast, and we want to get top dollar for it as well.  Then reality hits, you get few calls, no offers, and then a couple low-ball offers.  Then after you sit on the car for a long time you finally cave and sell it for far less than you ever wanted too.  Well good news!  It does not need to be that way; I will give you 5 quick tips that will help you sell your car fast and get top dollar for your car.

1)      If you post it online, take pictures, a lot of pictures.  Here is a little trick, for example if it has a small dent in the back bumper; it is ok to say it on the ad.  That way you weed out some people who are looking for something perfect.  However, if you say that there is a small dent in the back bumper.  Take a bad picture of it, so either stand far away from the car or position the camera on an angle so the dent does not look so bad.  If you don’t show a picture of it, people’s minds will automatically think the worst, this way you will have more people come to look at your car.

Selling Your Car 2)      If you are posting it on criagslist, host an jpeg ad on a separate site and use html to show your ad on craigslist.  You can make things look a lot more creative this way.  I’m not going to give you step by step instructions on how to do it, but Google it.  There are plenty of tutorials out there.  Remember, people browsing the internet have the attention span of a gnat, so use different color text, a lot of spacing, and many bullet points.

3)      Initial proper pricing is crucial to selling your car, I know everyone would like to sell their cars for what they paid for them, but that is not the reality.  Also a lot of people price their cars base on what Kelly Blue Book says.  KBB often over values vehicles.  Instead look at comparable cars on local online classifieds go for and use that as your starting point.

4)      Don’t come down on your price on the phone.  This is a trick that any skilled car buyer knows.  What they are trying to do is get you down over the phone, so they can get you down lower when you meet in person.  If they ask if you are negotiable, just say you have a lot of appointments scheduled to look at the car already, so if the people coming to see the car are willing to pay the full price then I would accept that instead of a lower offer.

5)      Always act like the car is almost sold.  People want stuff that other people want.  A sneaky little trick is to say to someone that you have an interested buyer, they just have to get financing, and they should know by tomorrow.  Tell them if it falls through you will give them a call.  Then the next day call them up and tell them they could not get financing; tell them that they are one of three people that you are calling back, so if you want to see it you will need to come quick before it is sold again.
